guttitude Tool

Claim Hype Checker

Paste a gut health, probiotic, supplement, food, or microbiome claim. guttitude will score how specific, evidence-aligned, human-relevant, and commercially inflated it is.

The goal is not cynicism. It is calibrated trust.

A claim can be promising and still be overstated. This tool separates reasonable interpretation from marketing acrobatics.

Enter the claim

Paste the exact wording from the website, label, ad, post, or pitch deck. The tool is sharper when the claim is specific.

Specific claims beat broad claims

“Supports digestive health” is less useful than a claim naming the population, dose, timeframe, and measured endpoint.

Evidence type matters

A cell study, mouse study, observational human study, and clinical trial do not support the same level of confidence. Biology is not a group project where everyone gets the same grade.

Causality is expensive

Words like “treats,” “repairs,” “restores,” and “prevents” require stronger evidence than softer support language.

guttitude evaluates claim specificity, evidence fit, causality inflation, human relevance, and commercial spin. This tool does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. It is an evidence-literacy tool, not medical advice.
